My sequence of 7 bookings was one day out – I’d booked the transfers for the day we arrived at each B&B not the day we departed. LT called the first B&B and realised that there was a problem. I wasn’t contactable, but they realised what had happened and proactively shifted the bookings.

We also need to change our drop-off time on the last day. All done with no hassle.

Excellent, straightforward and trouble free service.

Simple to arrange with helpful reception staff. Bags left at accomodation in the morning miraculously arrive at the next destination at the end of the day’s walk. Stress free.

Can be arranged up to the preceding evening.

Very reliable and very helpful on finding accommodation if required. Walked from minehead to Newquay on swcp for 2 weeks and luggage was always there waiting at B&Bs. Great and can’t wait to use them again for the next leg of my walk.

We had seven transfers on the South West Coast Path. Everything was perfect, we did not have to worry. Every afternoon our luggage had arrived before us. No doubt, we will use the service next year again.

Excellent service. Bags collected and delivered each day, the drivers always called ahead to let our accommodation know what time they would be dropping off our bags. Very impressed with this hassle free service, would not hesitate to use again.

They performed faultlessly

Very reliable collection and delivery – have used LT for 3 trips to Pembrokeshire with no problems at all.

Actually Luggage transfers should score 5 Stars. An excellent service very efficiently performed – it all happened as it should. However I note that it is starting to get a bit expensive compared with a few years ago.

Most comments however are directed towards sister company Walk The Trail (WTT). This also was excellent and I cannot fault the service. I note that:

Every accommodation booked was excellent and ideally sited. I booked 15 nights and every night I enjoyed. Really good B&B’s hotels and very close to the trail.

WTT managed to book hotels/B&B’s where there was limited choice – I suspect I would have difficulty in booking such places myself.

Excellent backup available with contact numbers should anything go wrong (it didn’t). I have a high confidence that WTT would sort things out efficiently.

BUT…..

Yes, I am prepared to pay a premium for this service – but how much? 10%?; 15%?; 20%? But NOT a 70% mark up to the accommodation costs (which is what it ended up costing).

So yes, I was very impressed with the service offered, but will certainly get other quotes when I plan the next part of the SWCP.

Excellent, efficient service and great customer service I had forgotten to transfer the money but they didn’t let us down and took payment later . Will use them again.

We have used Baggage Transfers on every leg of our South West coast path. They’re very efficient and have never made any mistakes, even with there several of us, all staying at different places. They really make everything very easy and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Their taxi booking service is good as well.

We were very happy with the service. They delivered on time every day and on a couple of occasions went beyond what we would have expected to ensure our bags were there.

Communication was great including after the walk had commenced.
